The widest window is labeled "News". You'll get short messages of interest in this window, such as the greeting that says "Welcome to the Great Pyramid of RA!" This window keeps the most recent twenty messages or so; new messages are always highlighted in white-on-black when they first appear. Use the scroll bar to see recent messages that have scrolled out of the window.
